The first feed mill of Guangdong Haid Group's Malaysian subsidiary breaks ground。

According to SeafoodNews, Shenglong Aquatic Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Guangdong Haid Group Co., Limited, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its‑first aquafeed production facility in Malaysia.

The Malaysian Investment Development Authority stated that the plant is expected to go into operation in 2028, with an initial investment of approximately 140 million ringgit (equivalent to about 34.2 million US dollars). It will be equipped with two shrimp feed production lines and two fish feed production lines, delivering an annual production capacity of 150,000 tonnes.

Mr. Zhuang Jiecheng, General Manager of Shenglong Aquatic Technology, commented: “Through this investment, we aim to deliver high‑quality aquafeed, a more reliable supply chain and comprehensive technical support to help farmers boost production efficiency and profitability.”

The project is projected to create more than 100 jobs.
